Named after Thomas & Eliza Deacon the original owners of The Riverhead, ‘Deacon’s Kitchen’ was the tavern’s original kitchen.
These days it is a private dining room that can be hired exclusively offering a separate space for special functions of up to 20 people.
Larger groups are encouraged to be on a set menu of either two or three courses. It is also ideal for business meetings. We’ve installed the latest audio-visual technology, so everything is set up and ready go should you wish to use the equipment for a presentation of any kind.
Needless to say, Deacon’s Kitchen reflects the character The Riverhead is renowned for.
