Alana and Reza, The Riv’s Very Own Love Story, May 2021

How many couples can say that they married in the same place that they met? Because that’s exactly what Alana and Reza did.

Alana started working here at The Riverhead in 2012, just one year after it re-opened under the ownership of Paula and Stephen. And it’s the place where she first met now-husband, Reza.

Both working part time while completing their university degrees, Alana and Reza hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. After graduating they both moved on from The Riverhead but chose to return here to celebrate the next chapter in their lives. In front of their friends and family they said “I Do” before partying the night away.

It was an honour to be part of their Wedding here at The Boat House, and we wish them nothing but happiness for their future together.
